Project #1: Footprint Introductions

Description: The footprint introductions are an activity we use to get to know one another. We start by tracing our footprints. Students can use any color of paper and cut out the outline. For this, we were required to use 3 different types of media (crayons, markers, objects, etc.), show neat craftsmanship, include our name, and have good use of space. On my footprint, I include: sun - favorite season is summer, iced coffee - love to drink it, dolphin - favorite animal, Captain America shield - favorite superhero, a polaroid of my dog, rose - like to watch the Bachelorette/Bachelor, noodle - favorite food is pasta, suitcase - love to travel, softball - grew up playing fastpitch and now coach fastpitch and play slowpitch.  Extension Activity: An add-on to this activity is that students could make a footprint based on a historical figure. Instead of making a footprint based on themselves, students could add things to a footprint that relate to an important person from our history. F...
